About

I am Qualified as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I have robust supervision every month and have always been passionate about helping people. I previously worked in mental health and with learning disabilities. I have experience working with anxiety and depression, trauma, domestic abuse, loss and bereavement. I work with adults (age 16+), with an agreed amount of sessions or on an open ended basis, with the intention of allowing you to enhance your life and live it more fully.
I work in an integrative way, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment Theory and a Person Centred Approach. I am Trauma informed and Eating Disorder informed.
I consider myself to be caring, genuine, empathic, warm and I have good listening skills. I will take the time to ensure you feel that we are working in a way that suits you. I want the best for my clients and will tailor sessions to your presenting issues to ensure you are getting the most out of your counselling experience.
