Hello. I am a fully accredited EMDR Practitioner & Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. CBT helps us to understand the relationships between our feelings, thoughts, behaviours and environment, and the ways in which these can become problematic. With an understanding of how mental health difficulties develop and are maintained I use an evidence-based (NICE) and goal-orientated approach to help support change. The emphasis is on finding solutions that works for the individual, so that you can improve emotional health by applying new skills and techniques to old patterns of thinking and behaving, and experience lasting change.
I provide CBT and EMDR for clients presenting with a broad range of issues including: depression, panic, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, PTSD, pain management, low-self esteem, health anxiety, OCD, phobias (and more). I have worked in the NHS and privately with experience of working with children and adolescents (CAMHS) & adults (IAPT).
