My name is Karys Matthams, I am a registered psychotherapist and I founded RISE Hypnotherapeutic Counselling and Coaching based in Thetford in 2021. Since then, I have helped many people to deal with life's more difficult challenges and times.

There are many conditions that I am asked to help with, but these are some of the most common: anxiety, depression, workplace stress, trauma, managing long term health conditions.
I offer integrative solution focused therapy, where we select the strategies you feel will work best for you.
People often worry therapy may be a painful or lengthy process where they are encouraged to talk repeatedly about difficult feelings or events. I don't work that way as the latest research shows that this is not the best way to help people move forward. Our work starts with me listening to what has been going for you and what you want to change.
