I see therapy as a safe place to gently explore and make more sense of our lives; where we can gain insight, challenge our beliefs, process our experiences and find better ways of being. I believe we gain insight and develop a sense of ourselves through relationship. I have particular experience and skills in working with relationships, loss and bereavement, issues from childhood, including sexual abuse, neglect and attachment.
I can help with more recent traumas and events of any kind, and related impacts such as, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, nightmares, flashbacks, fear and avoidance. I’ve also learned a lot about how to support people living with chronic pain and health conditions. I am also currently employed as Iron Mill's Counselling Service Manager.
I provide a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental space and a commitment to offer you my full attention, compassion and curiosity. I invite you to get in touch to talk things through and decide whether we would like to work together. I offer daytime and evening appts. Sessions are 1hr weekly, but I'll do my best to be flexible if you need it.
