About
People seek therapy for many different reasons and at different times in their lives. I am keen to discuss your individual needs with you. I invite you to explore with me in a compassionate, safe, non-judgmental space, your current difficulties. I have experience of working with people attending counselling for many different reasons including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, issues in the workplace, trauma, ASD and ADHD. I have previously worked with people of all ages, backgrounds and a variety of faiths. I offer counselling to individuals (plus Young People age 14-18 years) and am open to exploring together your issues.
As a Person Centred therapist I work in a holistic way considering, with you, your physical, emotional and spiritual needs and the relational networks (family/work/social) that you are a part of. I have a particular interest in trauma, anxiety and neurodiversity. I have experience of both short and long term work, including workplace issues.
I provide an initial free 15 minute phone consultation to enable you to 'meet' me to discuss the headlines of why you are looking for counselling. We then arrange an initial paid session to begin to explore in more depth your story. This gives you an opportunity to check me out before committing to further work. Please get in touch if you have questions.
