Everyone is an individual who experiences life and the issues it throws, in very different ways. No 'one' sure way fits all - that is my Moto. We are individuals. Whatever anyone is feeling they shouldn't believe that they can "just cope" because everyone else seems to be doing ok. Its all relative! Depression/anxiety/stress/ lack of self worth and esteem are all problems in todays society and many suffer in silence. You don't need to. Often by talking and getting your problems out in the open is the first step to healing. Their voice to be heard and feelings to be listened to. Trust and the therapeutic relationship are key.

Previously I have worked as a trauma counsellor - predominately with young girls and women who have experienced sexual violence, rape and childhood abuse. With this comes PTSD, self harm, suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, panic attacks and self loathing. I also specialise in abuse within relationships - particularly narcissism.

I offer a warm, relaxed and confidential space to explore challenges being faced. Psychotherapy enables you to come to terms with life experiences and gain awareness and clarity in a non-judgmental and empathic way. I believe having a strong, trusting and safe therapeutic relationship is paramount in exploring life's difficulties and gaining understanding.

I work as an integrative therapist using different tools to suit the client. As I also am trauma informed I will use psycho-education so that the client has an understanding as to why they feel as they feel.
