About
Having the time and space within counselling to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential environment is often the first step in making positive change in someone’s life. Our problems can sometimes feel too big or heavy to carry ourselves. Often it’s hard to pinpoint what’s actually wrong, but that low mood, and anxiety over powers us. Counselling will help you understand your behaviours and emotions that little bit better and give you insight into why you may be finding things difficult. With this understanding, it is often the catalyst for positive change leading to a more balanced and healthy future.
Looking for a therapist can be a big step. Lots to understand and navigate. Making the decision to seek therapy is the first step to making positive change, and finding the right therapist for you is an important one. I offer a confidential and safe space to gently explore what brings you to therapy. I specialise in anxiety and depression.
Sometimes, it is difficult to even name what is wrong, there is just a feeling that won’t go away, or an anxious knot that won’t subside and now feels like the time you wish to act on it and try and better understand your feelings and behaviours. If you read this and can relate, please reach out for support. I am down to earth and genuine.
