As a sex and relationship therapist I can help treat many kinds of sexual function issues that have psychological causes or impacts. I can also assist with life and relationship issues related to sex. In terms of relationship therapy, I help partners navigate conflict, manage emotional dysregulation and build better communication practices. I use a collaborative person centred approach which involves building a therapeutic relationship to establish and assess your feelings, thoughts and behaviors. I subscribe to the pluralist approach which means I use tools from other modalities in order to tailor the therapy to the individual.
I believe that relationships are the foundation for personal satisfaction be it with the self, partners, colleagues, friends etc. When there are problems it can be all consuming and it is inevitable that the sexual experience will in some way be affected. I offer the tools needed to reduce stress and anxiety while improving your interpersonal skills.
