I’m Tilly, a BACP-registered psychotherapist offering psychodynamic therapy outdoors in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders. At Just Wandering Outdoor Therapy, nature is central to the work, providing space, perspective and insight beyond a traditional room. With over 25 years’ experience in environmental education, wilderness therapy and youth work, and as a qualified Mountain Leader, I combine the restorative qualities of nature with safe, sound practice. I work with young people and adults on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and life changes, welcoming all identities with empathy and respect.
At Just Wandering Outdoor Therapy, I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy outdoors, combining deep therapeutic work with the grounding presence of nature. Walking or sitting outside creates space to explore feelings, relationships and patterns with openness and ease. Sessions are 50 minutes, paced by you, and welcome all identities and life experiences.
Therapy is a process of discovery, not a race. Together, we explore patterns, emotions, and blocks that may be holding you back, fostering insight and self-awareness. Sessions unfold at your pace, supporting steady, meaningful growth rooted in your experiences and connection with yourself.
