We can all at times experience life as challenging and stressful. Clients contact me for a variety of reasons including:partners of childhood sexual abuse survivors, anxiety, work stress, bereavement, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss of direction as well as wellbeing for men. Couples also come to my practice. Some come to improve how they communicate, some wish to find a way through their current difficulties and to find a way forward, some wish to separate with compassion and understanding, whereas others come to keep their communication open via couple tune up sessions after the main therapy has ended.
A key area of my practice is working with adult partners of someone who was sexually abused in childhood. Partners of survivors can feel isolated, confused or angry knowing their partner's childhood experience, often not knowing where to go for support. My practice offers a respectful therapeutic supportive space for partners to explore their experiences.
Challenges in life can feel daunting. My practice offers an open space for your reflections. Clients experience my approach as empathic, supportive and genuine. I work at a rhythm that invites clients to come to an understanding of their experiences at their own pace which can invite the potential for beneficial change.
