Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. As a therapist I consider all clients and their presenting issues to be individual as no two people are the same. The skillset I have acquired, along with a tremendous amount of lived experience allows me to emotionally support those presenting with a wide range of varying needs. It is of my belief both professionally and personally that together, working collaboratively will help enable clients obtain their goals.
Having trained as a pluralistic counsellor, this enables me to use several modalities as part of my work. Often what we are struggling with and the behaviours used to cope, have originated from a time and place previously that we may not have fully processed which can contribute to hope we operate presently. This I can fully support you with.
To have empathy has to be innate, it has to come from within. All clients will want to feel their therapist empathises with them and this I have in abundance.
