I will support you to look at what difficulties you have now which could use a new direction. We will explore what you would like to change, and look at what solutions work for you. Sometimes this will include looking back to discover repeated behaviours, areas where you have been hurt many times, and begin to look at what you can do differently to find a happier and healthier way to live your life. People and relationships often come into the work, and can show further areas where you could be happier.
Being late diagnosed neurodivergent (ASD and ADHD) has given me lots of life experience of living with "otherness", how I adapted to fit the world I lived in, and what it was like to rediscover who I am, and always was. These experiences allow me to be open to hearing your truth, and to help you explore what you really need to change for your benefit.
It is never too late to make changes and you do not need to be in crisis for counselling to be a good decision. Initially, we will have a 20-30 minute, fairly informal, conversation. This gives you chance to tell me a little about what you would like support with, and to decide if I might be the right person for you.
