I am a Person Centred and Humanistic Counsellor. This means I work from the belief that each client is an expert on themselves, knowing more about themselves than anyone else. I provide emotional safety and psychological support, in a calm environment where you will be valued and respected. By gaining clarity and perspective on what is troubling you right now, and with increased insight into your own internal world and how you interact with the world around you, your confidence in your ability to move forward in the right way for you will grow.
I have extensive knowledge of Narcissism and Co-dependency, as well as direct experience of living with those who exhibit narcissistic traits. I also work with clients who have experienced Domestic Abuse, or Bereavement and Loss. I often work with long term clients, but also provide online counselling, short term sessions, and telephone counselling.
I work from my beautiful garden room, a calm and tranquil setting with no interruptions. I start with an assessment session see how it feels to work together. This gives me an idea of what has brought you to counselling and what you would like to gain from your sessions. We can then outline what feels the best way forward to help you achieve this.
