I work with people who don't know 'what to do' and are experiencing anxiety, stress and may be overwhelmed by all the information surrounding mental health, wellbeing and neurodivergence and want to explore the foundations to better mental health. Additionally, I work with many long-term clients to provide deeper exploratory work, at a gentle and safe pace, led by you, with an emphasis from me on elements of compassion focused and acceptance work. I am passionate working with clients experiencing disabilities, who are neurodivergent, or unpaid and/or young carers. This passion comes directly from my lived and professional experience
Pluralistic counsellors work from the belief that each client is unique and that different therapeutic methods and approaches will help different individuals at different points in their journey and that client preference is essential. I also regularly and creatively adapt my therapeutic approach and environment to meet the needs of neurodivergent clients.
I aim to provide a therapeutic service that matches your individual needs and create a space where you can be fully heard and seen. Every individual is unique but I hope that as a practitioner with lived experiences similar to my clients, I can take some of the load off you having to explain the basics of what its like to be you.
