Hello! I’m Julia and I’m a Humanistic Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor and Play Therapist. I am a naturally warm and caring person and I believe everyone has the right to live a fulfilled life with meaningful relationships. No matter what we have been through, it is my belief that we all have the capacity to heal. I have recently retrained as a child psychotherapist which informs my practice. I am aware that sometimes talking therapy can have limitations and so I offer creative interventions such as sand tray, play doh and story making.
I work with trauma, bereavement, self esteem and relationships issues among others. I am passionate about neurodiversity, particularly ADHD and am neurodivergent affirming. As well as working in the here and now, I support my clients in connecting present issues to the past if it feels comfortable, I work at your pace.
