I am a qualified humanistic counsellor working in Chippenham, Wiltshire. My aim is to provide you with a safe, confidential and comforting environment where you can explore your own particular needs, hopes and wishes for the future. I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and support their principles and guidelines. I work in a person centred way, and will listen to you without judgement, and with empathy and compassion, to help you explore your concerns and problems and support you as you find acceptance of the past and move forward in the future.
As a humanistic counsellor I will listen to your story with understanding and without imposing my solutions onto your problems. My job is to explore what would be best for you and support you while you achieve this and find the right path for you without assuming I know better than you about how to deal with your problems.
Life offers us such exciting possibilities which can sometimes cause stress and anxiety, sometimes we are treated badly by others and need help to understand why. I am here to help you find ways to change the things you can and gain acceptance about the things you can't.
