My name is Julia Baker; Neuro Diverse therapy nurse. I have been working in a range of health, social care and therapeutic settings for adults/children, for over 28 years. I have been a registered MH nurse for nearly 10 years, I have over 17 years child and adolescent mental health (CAMHS) experience. l am trained in a range of psychological therapies and PGcert in counselling which enhances my specialist skills in neurodiversity/mental health. The therapy you receive will be regulated as I'm a registered MH nurse and follow an evidence base, but most importantly it will be person centred, safe & effective to meet individual needs
I have specialist skills in complex presentations and needs. I am a registered nurse, regulated by the NMC. I have extensive experience in learning disabilities, challenging behavior, neurodivergence, psychosis, depression, anxiety, SMI, risk management. I am proud to be MH nurse, generating positive change, making a difference to people's lives & recovery
I am massively compassionate about mental health and providing safe and effective care and therapy . I have advanced knowledge and training in trauma and specialist skills in neurodiversity/assessment, therapeutic intervention.
