Life can be hard at times; work can be stressful, relationships challenging and circumstances in the past and present can all affect our emotional health. Perhaps you struggle with anxiety or low mood or self esteem, or a life event has knocked you off course. When we're struggling it can be really helpful to speak with someone outside of our family and friends who can gently help you understand the why behind your feelings and behaviour; and offer the hope of change.
Whatever has brought you to this place, I can help. In a relaxed environment I'll ask you questions to help me understand how you think and feel. We'll look at childhood to see where some of your thinking might have come from, and then together we'll work towards those things you want to change. It's my goal to help you feel supported and understood.
I am a qualified Adlerian Therapist, registered with the BCAP. I have a degree in Psychology and worked in the charity sector for over 10 years. My own mental health crisis and experience with therapy is what inspired me to retrain and start my private practice. I offer in person and online therapy - weekly or fortnightly.
