Hello, my name is Judith.
It's important to find a counsellor or psychotherapist who is a good fit for you, so I will try to give you some idea of who I am and how I work, in this brief space.
Sometimes life can be painful and difficult. You may feel overwhelmed, confused or stuck; perhaps you want some kind of change. I believe we are more than our thoughts and feelings; we have a soul. What our soul needs is not always clear to us and as a result we may struggle. If you feel there may be more to life, or you feel different, I can relate to that and support you in exploring how to create a life that is meaningful to you.
All my professional and life experience and qualifications enable me to relate deeply and connect with you, so that you feel seen and heard. It can be helpful to work creatively and to express ourselves in ways other than with words to become aware of issues. If I think an activity may be helpful, I will offer it to you and it will always be by invitation.
I am a qualified, integrative, humanistic counsellor, which means that I am interested in all of you and that I draw on different approaches to support you. I am also a shamanic practitioner and experienced speech and language therapist. I have extensive experience of working with neurodivergent people, in particular autism, ADHD and stammering.
