Welcome, I'm Josiah. At Off Beat Therapy, I particularly see clients who may not feel comfortable or accepted at traditional therapy services. I work with people from all walks of life, but most of my work is with trans clients, and I specialise in working with older trans adults on issues around identity, parenting, ageing and childhood trauma. I also work with autistic individuals, drag performers, queer comedians and other kinds of performers/artists. I see clients both online and in Farnham, Surrey.
I offer a lived experience perspective when working with queer, trans and autistic clients. I have been in the client's chair, and I know the value of therapy that is genuinely culturally fluent. My work is often creative, visual and quirky - a bit 'off beat', reflecting my desire to approach things differently for my clients.
