We can all have times in our lives when we find things tough, we can feel overwhelmed and struggle to cope or we may feel dissatisfied with our lives. This is how counselling can help. I offer a safe space where you can talk openly and privately about your problems, feelings and behaviours. We can build a therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect. It is a non judgmental space for you to speak about issues you face, that you may not feel comfortable to discuss with friends or family.
I have extensive experience working with addiction having worked for a substance misuse service. Being apart of the LGBTQ community, it is my passion to support people with gender identity, coming to terms with sexuality, judgment from others and coming to terms with a diagnosis of HIV. Over the last year I have volunteered with Cruse bereavement.
I am an integrative counsellor who tailors the way I work for your specific needs because people do not fit into a box. During each session we will work together to achieve the goals you wish to explore.
