My goal is to help people make a real difference in their lives. Counselling needs to be a safe and supportive environment where people are free to talk about the issues that concern them the most. My approach is calm, to the point and above all honest.
I have a wealth of experience in helping clients experiencing depression, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ related issues and relationship problems. I aim to help people contact the underlying feelings associated with their distress, then make sense of what emerges to process and move forward.
I have over 13 year’s experience as a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist. In that time, I have run my own therapeutic practice and worked as a Lead Counsellor in the NHS where I was responsible for overseeing the clinical practice of over 25 therapists. I have also been a Guest Lecturer at a leading UK University and I am an accredited therapist.
