With over 25 years of experience, ranging from addiction through to sexual and emotional abuse, anxiety, depression, anger and numbness, I'd like to support you. In recent years I have moved my work focus to integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) as I find this way of working empowering to the client, engaging and highly effective. It may be you hear a loud critical voice inside or joy and fun may be fleeting or missing, you might like to access them again (or for the first time!). If your goal is a compassionate, connected, creative Self then maybe Internal Family systems be what you are looking for in therapy.
IFS is here to examine the parts of you that hold anxiety, grief, anger, addiction and trauma. It is a way of really getting to know your inner world. It is proven (backed up by neuroscience) and evidence based. It can be sometimes fun, as well as deep and trauma aware. I am happy to work with a number of different disciplines according to your needs.
I regard myself as warm, relational, compassionate and creative. I facilitate and guide, ask questions to help you find your way. Taking the first step is not easy but I look forward to our first exploratory session.
