About
Perhaps you are hoping to find and develop relationships that are more meaningful or are struggling with a relationship you were or indeed are in. You may be experiencing feelings of anxiety or dissatisfaction with life. There may be problems at work that require an impartial caring ear or you may be feel there are questions about sexuality that you would like to consider. It could be that you want to look at your general mood or maybe there is simply the need to unpick your thoughts. In any instance, people often find that simply talking to another person about how they are feeling is helpful.
I hold a degree in Applied Psychology as well as a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and I work in adherence to the BACP ethical framework.
Irving Yalom said ‘It’s the relationship that heals’ and the relational model of psychotherapeutic theory was a significant influence in my training. It continues to deeply affect the way that I practice. Every client is an individual and a vital aspect of my practice is acknowledging the uniqueness of the clients experience without judgement.
