Hello, and welcome to my page. If you are facing difficulties in life, then I hope to be of therapeutic support and intervention. I am specialised in relational counselling and work with people individually and as couples and families. I am attentive to each person's unique experience of the world, including anxieties, frustrations, senses of isolation, and searches for something more. I have supported people facing various challenges from inner states of depression to relational conflicts to career changes in pursuit of meaning and purpose. Most of my current work is with couples in which I help to facilitate healthy communication.
I draw variously upon theoretical perspectives - psychodynamic, humanistic, CBT - though I am mostly interested in you and what you have to say. My therapeutic work is informed by my ongoing research, teaching, and public engagement as an anthropologist at the Centre for Anthropology and Mental Health Research in Action (SOAS) and the University of Oxford.
I am here to listen to issues affecting you, whether personally or interpersonally. I will try to help as much as I can, offering insights from my education, research, professional experience, and ongoing reading and clinical supervision.
