About
I work from quiet rooms in the Chilwell NG9 area of Nottingham. Working with you on strategies to help you manage Anxiety, stress and depression day to day, whilst exploring the causes and together, finding solutions. I offer counselling to adults and adolescents. I also welcome students as part of their counselling training. I am listed on the University of Nottingham approved Counsellors for staff and students.
I am a down to earth , warm, empathic counsellor , who will work with you without judgement. Our work together is confidential , and I offer a safe place in which we can explore your feelings and emotions and the impact of them on us and how we can make the changes we desire.
The hardest part starting counselling is making that first contact , I will make this as easy , simple and painless as I can. People who seek out counselling are not weak , they have just been strong for that little bit too long . Look forward to hearing from you , John
