I am trained as an Integrative therapist, drawing upon a number of approaches, and we collaborate on working together in a way that is most useful to you. With your hopes regarding therapy in mind, we work at your pace and focus on your needs. In doing so we may explore past experiences, reflect on what affects you in the present, and together work on ways of thinking and behaving that you may wish were different.
Any difficult and painful subjects that you wish to talk about will be heard, and I will help you to bear these in a compassion-focused approach, one that values trust and connection, and the uniqueness of every client. As a humanistic therapist I endeavour to be culturally aware, so that all individual diversity and experiences are seen and respected.
