I have an MSc. in Integrative Psychotherapy. I've been practicing 2.5 years post qualification and 5.5 years including my training. I also have a 19 year background as a Registered Mental Nurse (R.M.N.) in the NHS and a P.G.C.E. in Compassion Focused Therapy (2014). I offer psychotherapy for adults and couples. I work to provide a safe relationship where we can explore things in confidence and safety. I work with developmental childhood trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression,personality/character issues, relationship problems, including at home, at work, with yourself.
I help you explore and understand yourself. The work helps with with anxiety regulation and difficulty with self regulation of emotions like anger, sadness, grief, and feelings of hopelessness/helplessness, depression, and with conflicts within relationships. Issues of motivation and ability work can be addressed, as well as changing behaviour patterns.
I offer a free 20 minute online initial consultation. The next stage is an assessment session, either face to face or online. If we agree to work together I suggest a trial of 6 sessions face to face or online. Further work may be time unlimited. Endings are best planned but there are no obligations.
