I’m a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), with a strong foundation in psychology that underpins my approach. I hold a master’s degree in counselling and psychotherapy and bring over fifteen years of professional experience to our work. As a Registered Member of the BACP and a Senior Accredited Member of the NCPS, I work integratively, drawing on evidence-based approaches such as CBT alongside integrative psychotherapy, so sessions can be both structured and reflective, depending on what’s most helpful.
My background includes NHS Step 3, EAP helpline work, trauma-focused counselling, bereavement and life-limiting illness support, and NHS staff counselling.
We’ll agree goals together and track progress using simple outcome measures so you can see what’s changing and we can adapt what we do.
Typical themes I help with include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and work or relationship stress. The first session is offered at half the usual fee to help you get a sense of how we might work together and decide if this approach feels like a good fit.
