Is your mental health suffering? Does life often feel frustrating, confusing, or even unbearable at times? Through empathy, authenticity and the safety of a non-judgemental space, we can explore whatever is coming up for you. It is within this safe space that the self can be explored and self awareness can grow. I have experience working with many different themes, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss/bereavement, self-harm, suicidal ideation, domestic/sexual abuse, identity, gender/sexuality, and hopelessness. I believe it is an honour and a privilege to be able to hold space for you through your circumstances.
I'm a humanistic counsellor, meaning I place our therapeutic relationship at the heart of the work. I'll work collaboratively with you at your own pace, through a relational and intersectional lens, because culture, upbringing, class, gender and beliefs all have an impact on, and inform our human experience, and need to be considered.
I'm registered with the BACP, with two years experience working within a mental health setting. Personal counselling has helped me to navigate through my own patterns, motivations, defences, blind spots, and so much more. I am grateful to be able to share the gift of therapy with others. Feel free to email me, or call for a free 15 minute phone consultation.
