Hi, I'm Jody, a Level 5 Qualified Integrative Counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
As an Integrative Counsellor, I don’t believe one approach suits everyone. Every person is unique, which is why I adapt the way I work to best suit the person.
Alongside my counselling work, I’ve spent over twenty years in senior leadership roles within a large international organisation.
I also have lived experience of poor mental health so am aware how overpowering and debilitating it can be.
Due to all of the above, this places me in a unique and honoured position to help.
I offer an integrative approach, meaning I will work in a number of different ways. Some of these approaches include Person-centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic approach. As mentioned, I believe different approaches suit different people and working together we will decide how YOU would like to work.
