I started my counselling training over 15 years ago and have years of experience working with people who are striving to understand themselves and these complicated lives that we are all living. I will never get over how much courage it takes to reach out for help at a time of crisis and I am always blown away at the strength and resilience of the human mind. I believe that we all have the potential to grow & heal and that counselling works to facilitate this process. Counselling is for everyone. Not just those who may consider themselves to be in an extreme crisis. I treat each client as an individual working with your unique needs
I offer face to face and online open-ended integrative counselling with a warm, genuine and non-judgemental attitude in a completely safe space. I am trained in EMDR (including Flash technique), Person Centred Therapy, CBT, The Rewind Technique for PTSD, IFS & EFT (tapping). I also offer outdoor therapy with cold water exposure. I have a special interest in helping people make sense of how they 'show up' in relationships as well as a passion for working with our individual 'parts' and the inner child. I've worked with many people of different ages through a range of issues inc. trauma, PTSD, anxiety and abuse. Whatever your situation or difficulty, you will be warmly welcomed by me.
