I'm an experienced psychotherapist working with relationship and attachment issues, depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. Clients that begin to work with me often do so because they find that their feelings, thoughts or symptoms have begun to affect areas of functioning in life; they find that coping mechanisms that have been helpful in the past are beginning to work less effectively.
My attachment-based approach means that I am interested in your past - our early relationships determine how we connect with others as adults, how we view ourselves, and how we regulate ourselves.
I will encourage you to explore root causes of issues you might be facing today. I am interested in relationships, including our therapeutic relationship. My approach can involve challenge but ultimately is laid-back and supportive- you are the expert on your life.
