About
I'm Jo, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and CAT Practitioner. Lots of people struggle with their mental health at times and feel like they're not enough. Maybe you have a hard time liking yourself, find it hard to get your voice heard and feel like giving up trying or feel like it's only you struggling? We all have lots of messy feelings and I help people make sense of these. I love working alongside people to develop an understanding of what's gone on and how to make changes. I am experienced in been working with people with worry, mood, difficult relationship patterns, trauma and the effects these have on a person.
I use my training as a Psychologist to tailor each therapy experience to the person, with what they are bringing. The work is surely challenging but I offer a warm, friendly approach with a good dose of humour. I'm passionate about issues of equality, the climate crisis and how society influences and shapes our wellbeing.
Please feel free to contact me via email with a brief description of what is going on for you and what help you're looking for. I like to offer a free 15 minute telephone conversation in the first instance to see if we might be a good fit together. My clinic is on a Thursday daytime online.
