I offer a confidential space for people who are looking for help to understand and manage long standing difficulties, past traumas, recent distressing experiences or who simply want to better manage life's inevitable challenges. Whether you have a diagnosis of a mental health condition or not, I am passionate about supporting people with emotional pain and teaching evidence based ways to help people live the life they want.
I specialise in treating anxiety, depression, acute and chronic stress, low self esteem, shame, trauma, grief / bereavement and adjustment to chronic illness. My approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
I understand that reaching out can feel really difficult and I offer a warm, welcoming and compassionate approach to support with this. I have helped many people to overcome their difficulties and have a greater sense of joy, meaning and resilience in life. If you would like to find out more or want to arrange an initial chat I’d be happy to hear from you.
