I'm Jo, an Integrative Therapist offering counselling and psychotherapy services from two comfortable locations in Manchester City Centre and Chorlton.
I work with adults on a wide range of issues. I have specialist training in attachment and trauma, addictions, childhood trauma, fostering and adoption, somatic approaches, EMDR, transactional analysis and CBT.
I am here to support you through difficult periods in life, relationship/family challenges, depression, anxiety, low mood, life changes /transitions. We can co creatively explore what's causing you to not feel like yourself.
I understand that taking the first steps towards therapy can feel daunting, my goal is to make that process as comfortable and supportive as possible. I aim to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, without pressure or judgment.
You don't need to have everything figured before starting - we will do this together. I work relationally and believe that meaningful therapy begins with a genuine human connection. Together, we'll build a trusting and collaborative relationship where you can feel safe enough to explore what's been holding you back and begin to find your own way forward.
