If you are reading this I wonder if life feels difficult at the moment. Perhaps you are feeling anxious, depressed, living with the distress of uncertainty? Finding it difficult to let go of control, of perfectionism, feeling vulnerable or struggling with living in a ‘never enough’ world? Is this having a negative effect on your relationships, or are you struggling to understand traumatic events in your past, and you can no longer soldier on as before? However you may be feeling, it can feel really scary to come and talk to a counsellor. But I respect your courage to reach out, and I will listen to you with warmth and empathy.

My Integrative, Relational approach means that I use a wide range of therapies. As a trauma-informed therapist, I am curious about what has happened to you, and have an awareness of how that changes you; impacting on relationships and your sense of safety. I explore early development through to present experiences to help you integrate self awareness.
By exploring how you and I relate together in therapy, I aim to help you find different, more helpful ways of relating to others, facilitating an understanding of you, through a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. You are already taking a brave step towards seeking support, and together we will aim to work out where you are, and where you need to go.
