About

Are you feeling sad, anxious or overwhelmed, and need to work through your emotions in safe place? I offer a warm, empathic, non-judgemental environment to support you in understanding what is happening in your life and relationships, and how you want to move forward. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I presently counsel at a SEN school working with neurodiverse students 2 mornings a week, volunteer at a community counselling service working with adults 2 sessions a week, and have my private practice in Canterbury.
I have worked with clients who have experienced bereavement and loss, anxiety, low mood, difficult and abusive childhood experiences and many other situations for over 20 years, initially as a qualified social worker, and more recently as a qualified counsellor.
My therapy room is a calm, peaceful space. It is in Canterbury and is a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. My therapy room is wheelchair accessible and also has access to toilet facilities. I offer a free initial 20 minute session for you to come to meet me, and have the opportunity to see if I might be the right therapist for you.
