Hi I'm Jo, I am here to support you on your journey towards emotional wellbeing and personal growth. I have an interest in working with anxiety, relationship issues, low self esteem and attachment issues and have also with clients who are struggling with depression, loss and grief and suicidal thoughts. I use Person Centred and Somatic approaches which means that I work on the basis of what you decide bring to each session with compassion and warmth and I may also work with bodily experiencing as a way to help to regulate the nervous system when thoughts and emotions feel overwhelming.

Central to my way of working is to build a place of safety so that you feel comfortable enough to open up and talk about your issues and concerns without feeling judged.

I offer free 15 minute consultations as an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little. I can let you know how I like to work and you can decide if this might feel like a fit for you. It may also be a chance for you to tell me a little about what has brought you to therapy.
