Hi, I'm Jo, welcome to my profile. Are you feeling low, stuck, lost or anxious? I can help. I offer a safe space to help you try to understand your feelings and bring about positive change. Counselling can provide perspective, validation, clarity and a better awareness of self. I commonly deal with low mood, anxiety, loss, family/relationship problems, abuse, low self esteem, midlife/menopausal stresses.
As a person-centred counsellor I believe we are all unique and have the ability to change and grow. Within our relationship you will feel empowered and listened to without judgement. CBT training means (if appropriate) we can pinpoint unwanted feelings and attempt to reduce these by looking at thoughts and/or behaviours, using evidence based techniques.
I am an experienced, qualified counsellor and can work to suit your needs. Give me a call or email me (jo@wellbeingplaces.co.uk) and we can have a chat to see if what I offer is right for you.
