About
It takes courage to make the first step and get support for your emotional well-being. I am experienced in counselling clients with a variety of issues with my main focus on bereavement, grief and loss. I am a volunteer bereavement counsellor at a local hospice and support individuals and their family members living with life limiting illnesses. It can be a great release to share your feelings with someone who is there just for you and not emotionally involved in your situation. Enquiries come directly to me and your first half hour session will be free. I will aim to return your call/message within a few hours.
I am a Person-centred therapist and experienced in helping people struggling with loss and depression, supporting them to find ways of coping. I am LGBTQ aware and am experienced at working with people on the autistic spectrum. Most clients have an average of six sessions but this very much depends on the individual and what they bring to counselling.
For me, the client comes first. I will give you time and a confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I work on a one to one basis for sessions that usually last for an hour. The frequency of your sessions is up to you.
