About
Hi! I’m Jinnie and I’m a chartered clinical psychologist. It is a privilege to be allowed into a client’s personal world and to join them on their journey to wellbeing or recovery. My priority at the start of therapy is to provide a compassionate, warm and non-judgemental space, so that together we can build a trusting therapeutic relationship and work on overcoming the client’s difficulties together. I currently work as a clinical psychologist in the NHS, working with children and adults living with long-term health conditions.
I take a client-centered approach in my work, personalising therapy to each client by integrating techniques from a range of therapies. Therapeutic models I draw from include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Systemic Therapy.
I work with clients experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, low mood and self-esteem/ confidence. I specialise in supporting clients to live well with long-term / life-limiting health conditions (e.g., chronic pain/fatigue, neurological disorders, cancer, diabetes), and help clients cope with grief and bereavement.
