My waiting list is currently closed for new counselling clients; however, I have a limited number of spaces available for in-person and online clinical supervision, which I offer alongside my role as a Counselling Manager overseeing a team of counsellors in central York.
I provide supervision for experienced, newly qualified and trainee counsellors who are looking to deepen their knowledge of creative interventions and therapeutic frameworks. I am a down-to-earth practitioner with extensive knowledge and experience in safeguarding, trauma, relationships and abuse (SV, DV, CSA, CSE and spiritual abuse).
I work with humanistic and integrative counsellors supporting clients with a wide range of presenting issues, including anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, CPTSD, flashbacks, relationship difficulties, abuse, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, limerence and attachment wounds.
I have over twelve years' experience of counselling at the NHS, YMCA & Rape Crisis.
I aim to be both encouraging and empowering, supporting counsellors to develop confidence in their own way of being with clients whilst also offering appropriate challenge, insight and teaching.
I also welcome those seeking supervision from someone with a Christian faith.
