Sex can sometimes feel like a taboo topic, making it feel pretty uncomfortable to talk about. In particular, it might feel overwhelming or scary to be vulnerable and share our difficulties surrounding sex. However, the sexual self is unique to each person and evolves through the lifespan. This means that is normal to experience changes, challenges and difficulties connected to intimacy at some point in your life. I aim to provide a supportive environment for you to explore your relationship with sex and find ways to move through feelings of stuckness.
Psychosexual therapy can explore a range of areas including: exploring your relationship with sex; ejaculation and erection difficulties; loss of desire/libido; pain during sex (vaginismus, dyspareunia); difficulty reaching orgasm; sex after children; body image; achieving your sexual goals; issues with pornography; relationship conflict; shame; and illness.
