You may be looking for help around something specific such as difficult feelings or aspects of your life have become overwhelming or unmanageable, or maybe it is to understand and heal from past experiences. Whatever your reason for seeking counselling my aim is to help you to make sense of why you feel the way you do and to help you move through this difficult period in your life. I fundamentally believe that gaining insight and awareness through the process of counselling and psychotherapy facilitates healing and being able to find a new way forward.
My approach is relational and integrative, this basically means that my practice is influenced by a variety of therapeutic approaches, which enables me to provide a ‘tailormade’ approach to you as a client. Please ask if you would like any further information about my training, qualifications or specific counselling modalities I draw upon.
I have specialist knowledge and experience in supporting and counselling victims/survivors of domestic abuse and sexual abuse.  Through our work I can support you safely to process and gain a deeper understanding of the trauma and impact this has had, aiding your recovery and creating lasting change. I currently have space at 9am in person on a Wednesday
