About
Finding a counsellor can be challenging, especially when you may not be feeling your best, but it is important, as I believe the relationship between the you and your counsellor is key. You might be struggling with life generally or have specific challenges such as anxiety, low mood or having trouble with emotions or relationships. Or you might want to address specific issues. I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to allow my clients to bring whatever they want to explore and address: issues, challenges and feelings. I am a fully qualified counsellor and member of the BACP, abiding by their ethical framework.
I am fundamentally able to build a relationship with my clients based on trust and mutual respect, regardless of background. I have experience working across a range of ages and from different cultures along with diversity in gender, sexuality, beliefs and cultural backgrounds. Based in psychodynamic foundations I work integratively with empathy.
I have seen and experienced the benefits of counselling and am motivated to help others access their innate ability to grow. I have many hours experience of working with clients both long and short term on their individual journeys. We would establish what would be of most benefit to you in our initial discussion.
