I am an experienced HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. I offer a welcoming and collaborative space to explore your therapeutic goals. My specialism is in Cognitive Analytic Therapy and EMDR. I help clients experiencing difficulties in their relationships, coping with emotions, low mood and low self-worth. I also work with trauma (EMDR trained and IFS-informed). My clients often want to understand their past experiences, how these have impacted how they relate to themselves and others, and explore making changes to feel more empowered, safe, and able to cope with life's stressors.
I can help you make sense of past experiences and support you to recognise your patterns of relating to yourself and others which can leave you feeling stuck. I also offer trauma-focused therapy to help clients process trauma and build internal safety. This can involve understanding how the body is impacted by stress and threat.
I am a warm and compassionate psychologist keen on helping clients build safety and trust within therapy. Therapy can be a daunting experience which is understandable, and it's natural to feel apprehensive. I can work alongside you in a collaborative way, listen to you, and support you to make sense of the difficulties you are experiencing.
