Jenny Pummell is not currently accepting new clients.
I am a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) in York, working with young people and adults. I work with diverse client groups including, children, adults, carers, people with disability and neurodivergence (including ADHD and Autism) and people of diverse cultures or backgrounds, with a passion for empowering people to live more freely. I can help you with whatever life experience brings you to counselling, including but not exclusively, bereavement, relationship issues, anxiety and depression.
I work relationally and integrate different approaches to work with your focus or goals. I will focus on you and your needs, in a way that feels comfortable for you to explore your reasons for coming to counselling. I offer a non-judgmental space where we can build a trusting, mutual relationship which feels safe enough to allow for your growth.
I offer a 20 minute free consultation initially for us to explore how we could work together. You can talk about your reason for coming to counselling and I will share with you more about myself and how I work to create a plan that respects what you want to achieve. I am open and honest so we can begin to find a way forward, whatever your life experiences.
