About
I am an experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist in both the NHS and private practice. My approach is all about helping you to understand and improve your mental health . The sessions will be structured and focused toward understanding why you feel the way you do (your own mental health blueprint), how to recognise unhelpful patterns or triggers in everyday life and successful skills to self regulate. You will be equipped, not only to understand why you feel the way you do, but also how to work toward healthier ways of managing your mental health.
I use Cognitive Analytic Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I can draw from one or all of these to meet your individual needs and move you toward a positive outcome and success in managing your mental health.
Get in touch, I'm very happy to have a free 15 minute conversation with you to help you navigate your way around the different therapy approaches and how they may help you or your loved ones. You can find out more about me on my website at www.psychologynewcastle.com.
