I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the British HCPC and Swedish Socialstyrelsen. I am also a BABCP-accredited CBT psychotherapist, and hold foundation-level accreditation in Systemic Family Therapy. Alongside private practice, I have worked in the NHS and Swedish public healthcare services, since 2019. I work with adults with all forms of psychological difficulties, including in the context of cognitive impairment. My approach to psychological therapy is person-centered; the client is the expert on their experiences, and is supported to actively shape therapy to help them safely and actively achieve their goals.
I have extensive experience working with people with health problems, visible differences (such as after injury or illness), chronic pain, spinal cord or brain injury, and cognitive impairment. I am experienced at adapting therapy to be accessible to those with additional cognitive needs, such as after a brain injury or stroke, or in the context of dementia.
In therapy sessions with me, we are both experts who work together through true collaboration to achieve therapy goals. As a therapist, I am warm and compassionate, and prioritise building a strong relationship and creating a safe therapeutic space.
